Programmatic Requirements

S.O.S. (Save Our Streets) Ministries, based in Bryan/College Station, is a non-profit organization that offers a 24-hour outreach program to the community around them dedicated to “reach gangs, drug addicts, and those trapped in poverty”. In order to allow communication of the gospel in culturally relevant ways, the Center saw a need to meet the tangible needs in the community.

Design Solutions

BBA Architects was hired to provide design development and construction document services for a Phase 1 facility with the capability for future expansion. The 24-hour Ministry Center provides space for a variety of social services and programs such as computer and tutoring labs, job and social skills training, and entrepreneurial education. Industrial metal finishes, a contrasting detailed masonry facade and colorful interior spaces create an oasis of inspiration for the building occupants.
